Wrapping up the Season!

No pun intended!! So since it was impossible to update the blog with each session, here are a few faves from some recent sessions that we didn’t blog about.

Here is Kerri- she is the sister of “Sarah” whom we blogged about before. Their family was featured on “Wife Swap” this past October!

Here is Dale. She recently lost 75 lbs and will be featured in an article of “First” for women magazine in the spring. Look for it on store shelves in April 2009! Chris was contacted by the magazine to do the shoot which took place in “Some Girls Boutique” in Albany-

Here is one of our 2009 wedding couples. Are they not gorgeous?! April owns a great upscale salon in Albany- A&Co. We can’t wait to work with them on their special day!

New Camera!

OK so normally I don’t talk about our equipment, cause honestly how many people really care?! But we are so excited for our newest addition to our Canon family. The Canon 5D Mark II is one amazing camera. 21.1 megapixels and the coolest part- HD video! So yes, we are planning on adding a few bits of video as an option with our weddings. Granted we are not videographers and won’t be doing excessive video, but we have to do a little bit of clips! I mean, the quality is amazing! Merry Christmas to us!!

The Recorder

See Chris on the front page of the Recorder today!!!! He is also on page 6 where you can actually see him! Kara Kessler, a Mayfield High School Senior that Chris photographed, is going on to compete in the New York State pageant. She and Chris will be in the Sacandaga Express tomorrow. And another congrats to Chris!! He was awarded an Accolade of Excellence in a print submitted to the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Print Competition. Considering there are thousands of entries from around the world for these competitions and this is Chris’ very first competition, it is a great honor to be awarded anything!
